The Serbian Orthodox Primer Reading Book

In the history of our nation no one had ever worked on such an enormous and extensive scientific project. Therefore, our pioneer scientific work is more difficult. In order to encompass the most distinguished personalities and the most important concepts concerning our Orthodox faith, we have been for years researching the most important publications and periodicals in our language region. As the Orthodox faith spreads, thank God, beyond the borders of our homeland in order for us to do our job well we must research encyclopaedic sources in foreign languages, foremostly in Russian and Greek.

We had been working for three years on this scientific project. The work has gone to the that point where in most cases preparation for all the volumes has been accomplished. It remains for the prepared and alphabetised material to be lexically and lexicographically processed for the first volume. We need help, material and moral, to complete this huge work in the foreseeable future and to assure it is of the highest quality possible. Suggestions of the people of good will, especially Orthodox Serbs, will be gratefully welcomed.
