The Editors of the Orthodox EncyclopaediaComposed of: the editor, permanent and temporary assistants, most of whom work as volunteers out of love toward the faith; paid assistants out of lack of funds work for such low compensation that heir motivation is the same. The editor, promoter and initiator of the whole project since 1997. has been archpriest Zarko Gavrilovic.

Born April 10th. 1933 in the village Drežnika, near Užice, where he completed his elementary and junior high school. Five years Seminary and the Theological College of the Serbian Orthodox Church he completed in Belgrade. In 1967 he spent three years on his post-graduate stady in Oxford and was atached to Keble College. His D.D. he received at the Theological Faculty in Belgarde of the Philosophical Pedagogical group in 1973, and in 1984 his Ph.D. on the Philosophical College in Belgrade - pure philosophy. He is the author of over twenty books and countless articles.
